I’m very pleased to present these positively exquisite settees from the highly esteemed Stanford Furniture Corp. Made right’cheer in North Carolina! These are contemporary pieces designed to replicate French Provincial settees made in the King Louis XVI era and style, and feature many of the same exquisite details and craftsmanship used then, including: intricate hand-carving and heavily gilded gold paint throughout, nail-head trim, and the use of fine duck down feathers in the (back and seat) cushions. I’ve taken photos in two different lighting situations to give you a sense of the difference between low indoor light and voluminous outdoor light: each providing their own splendor in the way the settees appear. In excellent overall cosmetic and perfect structural condition: with a few surface scratches scattered here and there, in particular on the back neck area and around the feet; and a small what appears to be a sun-bleach spot on the bottom-side of one of the two cushions. Measures 45″ wide x 38.5″ tall x 31 deep. Please note / caveat emptor.
