This couch is part of the Kimball Collection, and features clean embossed upholstery, vintage shabby chic styling, and a sturdy base. There are 2 breaks on the top of the wood arch that should be professionally repaired. Outside of those flaws this couch is immaculate, and even though the cracks are on the frame, the surrounding wood is extremely sturdy and the rest of the wood is in very good condition. Antique Sofa Circa 1800s. My grandmother told us the story of how this sofa was brought to Chillicothe Ohio from Charlottesville Virginia on a wagon train. It was upholstered in horse hair then! Made in Denmark by Svend Skipper, this is a beautiful 3 person original Skipper sofa upholstered in soft black leather, the sofa comes with loose buttoned cushions on the seat and the backrest and stands on tapered teak legs. The sofa is in superb condition and is extremely comfortable. Very comfortable and in great vintage condition, the leather has recently been cleaned and treated. Dimensions: L:182cm D:80cm W: 80cm. I had this lovely two person seating antique settee painted and reupholstered two years ago. Prior to that, it had been in another family since the 1950′s. The fabric is nearly perfect. This lovely antique Sheraton sofa has been recently reupholstered in a tone on tone mint green floral and is in excellent sturdy condition. It has clean French lines in a rich, dark wood. The sofa is sturdy and comfortable. Dimensions are approximately 84″ long by 25″ deep by 33 tall with a seat height of 19. There is a faint stain that won’t show up in a photo. See my other sofa.
