Beautiful antique Duncan Phyfe sofa. I had it completely reupholstered in a lovely French-inspired fabric with pink roses on a soft cream background. It had a small mark on one of the cushions and the drycleaners ruined the cushion cover so I had that cushion reupholstered with some of the original leftover fabric and some new fabric so the one cushion has a nice two-tone design. Otherwise, there are some small blemishes on it, but no rips or tears. It was in a sitting parlor so really not used much; the cushions are still very firm and have kept their shape well. The wood is in good condition, some scratches and signs of wear but I left it original so the true design of the piece retains its beauty. It’s a beautiful piece but we’re downsizing so it must go.
