Exquisitely carved Empire Sofa with cornucopia, claw feet, acanthus leaf carving, book matched wood, and more. I bought it from a Newport, Rhode Island antique dealer over 20 years ago who said it was from one of the local cottages. Overall, the condition of the wood is very good. Fabric has some fading, wear, and small tears at the seat edge. Piping is loose in a couple of areas. Dimensions: W 89″ D 24″ H 35.75. Approx 1 hour west of Philadelphia, PA.
