Chinese Oriental couch c. Hardwood frame with a decorative pierced backrest and arms over a solid seat as traditionally found on Chinese furniture. Loose seat cushion covered in a silver grey velvet chenille. Carved with dragons heads on the backrest (also repeated on the rear), a frieze on the shaped apron below the seat and note also the front feet carved as stylized human heads.
