Antique Empire Style, Brazilian Rosewood, Scroll-arm Sofa. Item located in Staten Island, NY, 10310. Access for removal of the couch is no problem whatsoever. I’m not sure when this couch was made or what time period its from, but I was always under the impression it was from the Victorian era. This couch spend much of the last 50 years in the high-end room of the world-famous Mandolin Brothers guitar store, in Staten Island New York. Many famous butts have sat on this couch, while playing high end vintage acoustic and electric fretted instruments. Sadly Mandolin Brothers closed in July’17 and the couch remains. Over the years of working at the store many customers have complimented the gorgeous swirly Brazilian Rosewood sides and trim. This couch has so much character. I hate to let go of it for so many reasons but I just don’t have the space, so it must go. It’s about 86″ long, about 25″ wide and the seating cushion measures to be about 17 across. I don’t know what it weighs, but I wouldn’t say it’s extraordinarily heavy. If you have any questions, let me know and I will do my best in answering them.
