This suite is absolute eye candy from every angle, it is Victorian with the original leather hide to the body of the chairs and sofa, the leather is in fully restored condition throughout, the colour had faded and there was one or two pressure line rips, it has been. Then hand dyed this lovely cigar brown colour, I’ve had all new base cushions made which are in fully aniline natural hide leather, they have then been hand dyed to match the frames, the cushions are leather on both side so if the worse happens and you stain one side you can simply flip them over, the cushion internals are goose feathers for extra comfort. They have been buttoned in the Thomas Chippendale Floating button style. I’ve also have made scatter back cushions for each seat. The frames are solid walnut with Marquetry flamed walnut to the front board and legs, I have never seen this kind of work and detailing on seating before, its usually reserved for high end grand. Tables, it has various age related chips and scratches, as such it has all been restored and french polished throughout. Height:- 73.5cm. Width:- 152.5.
