ITEM: A beautiful 1940-50s 5pc rattan patio set that includes a sofa, two lounge chairs and two step down end tables with glass shelves. This set comes in a Art Deco tropical style with thick tropical orange naugahyde cushions. This set is similar in quality and style as Ficks Reed pieces but alot less expensive. Note: Fyi, I have each piece listed seprately if interested in one of the pieces. See my other listings. FEATURES: Solid rattan Sofa has three thick 6″ high orange naugahyde metal coil seat cushions with oak seat frames that are still very comfortable and firm and three 5″ thick back cushions. The cushions have thick orange naugahyde fabric with cotton fill and are still firm and comfortable. The two lounge chairs have the same construction and thick naugahyde metal coil bottom cushions. A thick solid rattan wood frames are all nailed and then hand tied at joints with reed and metal joint supports. Also there are solid oak inner seat frame for the oak framed seat cushions. The 2 step end tables features same rattan and reed wood frames with three beveled glass layerd shelves for lamps, magazines etc. This beautiful set is structurally well made and will last for generations. DIAMENSIONS: Sofa: 65L x 32D x 30H , Seat height: 16 Two end tables: 27D x 23H x 16W Two chairs: 31D x 30H x 24W. MANUFACTURE : Unknown, but very well constructed similar to Ficks Reed. This is a high end vintage rattan set. CONDITION: Overall the set is in very good vintage condition for 70+ years. The sofa frame in great shape has light wear w normal marks etc. All pieces are structually sound and solid. The sofas thick naugahyde cushions are in average condition with two tears one 10″ the other 3″ in two of the sofas seat cushions and a hole. These are currently taped w clear tape. The sofas back cushions are in good shape with no holes or tears. The two chairs back and seat cushions are in excellent vintage condition, with no tears or holes. Note: The sofas tears can be repaired or reupholstered with new matching vinyl.
