This settee is from the Victorian period and we had it professionally redone. It is upholstered in a beautiful neutral tone on tone textured floral brocade. It has been kept in in our bedroom since that time for some 26 or more years. There were no children in our home. Item has very seldom ever been sat in. The brocade is more matte and not the typical shiny type which gives it a gorgeous shabby chic look. We are downsizing and are parting with some of our lovely antiques. We have other items being listed soon such as a tall hall mirror with a brown marble shelf and a glass front cabinet. MEASUREMENTS ARE IN INCHES. Height from floor to center back back 41. Seat height from floor 14. Depth from center back to center front 23.5. It appears at one time a small piece came off near the upper center but was professionally reglued when we had it upholstered.
