8459 Louis XVI Style Giltwood Sofa Settee. This is a beautiful 19th century to early 20 the century French Louis XVI Style Giltwood Sofa or Settee. The finely detailed embellished crest has a quivered arrow flame with rose motif. The curved arms of the settee have an acanthus leaf design. This piece also has traditional fluted legs. It has the original giltwood finish but the front center leg has been touched up with gold paint. There are areas that show old repairs, however, it is structurally sound. Fabric has light staining, new upholstery recommended. Dimensions: 43.75″ H x 30″ D x 57.5″ W Seat Height: 17.25″. The majority of our furniture and accessory pieces are antique or vintage.
