This red leather Chesterfield sofa was crafted in England between 1980 and 1990 as an antique style reproduction. Today, this Chesterfield remains as beautiful and as sturdy as ever, with a timeless elegance that would enhance any home or office furniture collection. The Chesterfield is a classic, centuries-old design that combines supreme comfort with timeless elegance. Its distinguishing characteristics include tufted leather and arms that are the same height as the backrest. This design is not only well-suited to the human body, but also the eye! The impressive oxblood leather, a favorite color for leather Chesterfield sofas, displays a rich complexion that is beautifully complemented by the rolled arm rests and four mahogany bun feet that support the sofa. The base of the front is buttoned which results in a much tighter looking front base. Small details like this result in a stunning sofa that would complement any setting. The seat area measures 57 wide x 22 deep and is 16 from the floor. The Oxblood leather remains very strong and durable. It is very thick and has been treated to time-honored tanning and finishing techniques to produce the highest quality cowhide leather, and clearly it has stood the test of time. There is some wrinkling present, as is normal for an aged leather piece. This adds character to the already gorgeous red leather Chesterfield sofa. Also, there are a few minor scuffs here and there.
