Condition is not a concern with this beautiful love seat. The leather is a thick, high grade cowhide that was treated to an elaborate finishing process and will last for generations. Over time, the leather has become quite supple. Wrinkles have developed throughout, which gives it quite the aged look. While there is a small scuff on the front right corner and some minor wear on the left seat cushion, they add character to the piece rather than detract. This antique green leather love seat has been well taken care of over the years and the good condition reflects this. This love seat features two removable cushions. The cushions are soft and comfortable without being so soft you sink into them. The even arm rests and back that are rolled with buttoned leather are very indicative of the classic Chesterfield style. The entire love seat rests on mahogany bun feet. The green leather has a rich color that has worn nicely over the years leaving darker color in the recesses and lighter color on the raised portions. This coloration is an indicator of the quality of sofa you are purchasing and cannot be found in lower grade leathers or imitations. The leather has also become amazingly soft and supple over the years, one of the softest we have ever had in! The seating area has a width of 40 and a depth of 22. The seat is 17.5 from the floor. The back is also very clean, which would allow you to place the sofa in the middle of a room. There is a small, dark indent on the right side. A stunning love seat from any angle.
