Likely circa 1870s, probably French, in sound and solid condition; all the tacks’n bits removed, and ready for a build-up with your choice of fabric and upholstery approach. The wood has a brown-tone finish, and with nice texturing to support the fine, part-gilded carved detail. Dimensions: 47″ L x 38.5″ H x 23 deep; great size for use most anywhere… !
